Discovery Toys has been a part of my life longer than I have been a parent. I was first made aware of the products while I was a college student babysitting for a wonderful family. They had a really neat teether for their son. After I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education, got married, and we started our family, I became a stay at home mom. When our first child started trying to put toys in her mouth, I remembered this teether and just had to have one. I contacted a local Discovery Toys consultant who then shared with me all the other toys they had to offer. Not only did I want the Super Yummy Teether but so many other products as well. I hosted a show and received tons of free products. I had officially caught the bug and wanted more. I joined Discovery Toys for the first time in the spring of 1994.Several years went by and I continued to sell Discovery Toys to family and friends, enjoying the discount I received for my own family. I made many new friends through my time with Discovery Toys and loved sharing the products, but I felt I had other commitments that needed more of my time. It was hard, but I decided to step down from Discovery Toys.Time passed and I found myself wanting to find a way to make some additional income for my family while keeping my need to be there for them my first priority. While discussing various options with my husband one day, Discovery Toys came into the conversation. What if instead of joining for the discount, I joined to pursue a career with an income? Within the next 24 hours I was on the phone talking to two of the wonderful women I had worked with previously. How excited I was to find out they had not forgotten me!When I received a current catalog (I had not seen one in several years), it was like coming home. Many old favorites, including the Super Yummy Teether, were there as well as several new products waiting for me to experience. In 2006, I rejoined the Discovery Toys family. I started sharing my excitement with friends right away. Before I even received my kit, I had six parties scheduled! During my first twelve weeks I earned not only my Rocket Start Kit for free but also the Spring New Products Kit for free as well!As a stay at home mom of five children, Discovery Toys offers me the flexibility to put my family first while also offering unlimited income opportunities.
